Carlson Wagonlit Travel is organizing a walkin interview on coming Friday and Saturday i.e. 09.12.2011 & 10.12.2011. Interested candidates can appear for interview at 1 1:00 am and 1:00 pm. Freshers are also invited .
 
Designation: Travel Consultant / Sr Travel Consultant FC
Job Profile : Travel Counselor   
Experience 0 - 6 years
Overview - Responsible for file finishing and ticketing domestic and international travel itineraries created by a 3rd party booking tool, via a queue. 
Knowledge Required -
*             Industry knowledge and reservation skills in order to fulfill and ticket domestic and complex international reservations.
*             Accurately read and interpret fare rules
*             Ability to multi task and handle high transaction volume
*             Must be able to work independently
*             Proficiency in a minimum of one CRS
*             Ability to meet and maintain required performance standards
*             Excellent customer service skill required
*             Attention to detail and maintain high level of accuracy

Desired Candidate Profile
Must have an excellent knowledge of industry procedures, policies and commission structures (domestic, transborder and international)
Know how to read and interpret international fares and rules
Knowledge of airline bonus commissions based on routings, sectors, client contracts, etc.
Ability to interpret airline/industry jargon & complex airline commission rates and structures that apply to specific transactions
Working knowledge in Sabre & Apollo
Good basic world geography knowledge
Ability to recognize problems and to take appropriate actions toward

solutions
Must demonstrate desire and ability to be a high performer

Detailed oriented
Good to excellent verbal communication skills
Basic working knowledge in Excel
Self motivated with ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to maintain a favorable working relationship with other company employees & suppliers to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment and business relationships
Flexibility regarding assigned working hoursand shiftsas weekly workflow dictates .
